ATTORNEY-ONLY PLATFORM: Juridion AI is a professional tool designed exclusively for licensed attorneys. Use of this platform does not constitute the practice of law. All AI-generated content must be independently reviewed by a licensed attorney before filing or reliance.
We Do NOT Sell Your Data
We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information or document data to third parties for marketing or any other purposes. Your data is only shared with service providers necessary to operate the Service, as described in Section 8.
1. Information We Collect
When you use Juridion AI, we collect:
- Account Information: Email address and authentication data via Google Sign-In
- Uploaded Documents: Legal documents you upload for processing (PDF, DOCX, DOC, TXT, and image files up to 50 MB per file, 200 MB total per session)
- Generated Content: AI-generated legal drafts created from your inputs
- TOC/TOA Processing: Documents submitted for Table of Contents/Table of Authorities generation
- Usage Data: Information about how you interact with our service
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Process your documents and generate legal drafts using AI
- Generate Tables of Contents and Tables of Authorities for your documents
- Authenticate your identity and maintain account security
- Process subscription billing and track usage
- Improve our services and user experience
- Comply with legal obligations
3. AI Processing
Your documents are processed using Anthropic's Claude AI. Key points:
- Zero-Retention Policy: Anthropic does not use API inputs for model training (per their commercial API terms). API data is retained for up to 30 days for safety monitoring only, then automatically deleted.
- Your document content is sent to Anthropic's API via encrypted connections for processing
- Processing occurs in secure, encrypted environments
- No Human Review: Your documents are processed by AI only — no Juridion AI employees see your content
- AI interaction logs stored on our servers are retained for up to 30 days for quality assurance, debugging, and abuse prevention, then automatically and permanently deleted
3.1 TOC/TOA Processing
The Table of Contents/Table of Authorities tool processes your documents on our servers to extract citations and generate field codes. Documents submitted for TOC/TOA processing are:
- Processed immediately and returned to you
- Not retained on our servers after processing
- Processed via Anthropic's API under the same zero-retention data policy used for all AI processing
3.2 File Upload Limits
- Maximum per file: 50 MB
- Maximum total upload: 200 MB per session
- Maximum files per category: 20 files (Pleadings, Facts, Research)
- Accepted formats: PDF, DOCX, DOC, TXT, PNG, JPG, JPEG, TIFF
4. Data Retention
We retain data according to the following policies:
- Uploaded Documents: Automatically deleted within 24 hours of processing
- Generated Exports: Automatically deleted within 24 hours
- TOC/TOA Processed Documents: Not retained (returned immediately)
- Account Information: Retained while your account is active
- Subscription Status: Retained while your account is active
- Purchase History: Retained for 7 years (tax compliance)
- Audit Logs: Retained for 90 days for security purposes
5. Draft History Feature
Juridion AI includes an optional Draft History feature that allows you to access your previously generated motion packets.
What IS Saved (Draft History):
- The generated motion packet (JSON export data only)
- Metadata: case name, motion type, timestamp, document titles
- This data is saved to your account until you delete it or delete your account
What is NEVER Saved:
- Your uploaded documents (PDFs, Word files) - These are deleted IMMEDIATELY after your draft is generated
- OCR'd text from your documents - Deleted with the job directory
- Original source files - Never persisted beyond the processing session
Opt-Out: You can disable Draft History at any time in Account Settings. When disabled, generated drafts are not saved to your account and cannot be retrieved after you leave the page.
6. Subscription and Billing Data
Juridion AI uses a flat-rate subscription model ($249.99/month).
- Subscription Status: Stored securely in your Firebase account
- Purchase History: Transaction records retained for 7 years for tax/accounting compliance
- Usage Logs: Token usage logged for 90 days for billing support
- Payment Details: Processed by Stripe; we never store your full card numbers
7. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures:
- All data transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encryption
- Data at rest is encrypted on our infrastructure
- Authentication via secure Firebase/Google OAuth
- File upload validation (type, size, filename sanitization)
- Regular security audits and monitoring
8. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Google/Firebase: Authentication services and data storage
- Anthropic: AI processing (Claude API)
- Modal: Cloud infrastructure for document processing
- Vercel: Frontend hosting
- Stripe: Payment processing (we do not store your payment card details; they are processed and stored securely by Stripe)
9. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Request deletion of your data
- Export your data
- Withdraw consent at any time
- Delete individual drafts from Draft History
9.1 GDPR Rights (EEA/UK Users)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, you have the following additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
- Right of Access (Art. 15): Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Right to Rectification (Art. 16): Request correction of inaccurate personal data
- Right to Erasure (Art. 17): Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
- Right to Restriction of Processing (Art. 18): Request that we limit how we use your data
- Right to Data Portability (Art. 20): Receive your personal data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Right to Object (Art. 21): Object to processing of your personal data based on legitimate interests
- Rights Related to Automated Decision-Making (Art. 22): Not be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects
- Right to Lodge a Complaint (Art. 77): File a complaint with your local data protection authority

9.2 California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):
- Right to Know (Section 1798.110): Request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you
- Right to Delete (Section 1798.105): Request deletion of your personal information
- Right to Correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal information
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale: We do not sell your personal information to third parties. No opt-out action is required
- Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights

9.3 International Data Transfers
The Service is operated from the United States. If you are accessing the Service from outside the United States, your personal data will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
For transfers of personal data from the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on:
- Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs): EU Commission-approved contractual safeguards for international data transfers
- EU-US Data Privacy Framework: Adequacy decisions where applicable

10. Attorney-Client Privilege
We understand the importance of attorney-client privilege. While we implement strong security measures, users should be aware that uploading confidential client documents to any cloud service may have implications for privilege. We recommend:
- Reviewing Anthropic's data handling policies (zero-retention, no training on API data)
- Consulting your bar association's ethics guidelines regarding cloud-based legal technology
- Reviewing our Data Processing Agreement for enterprise compliance needs
11. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use essential cookies set by Firebase Authentication to maintain your login session. Our landing page embeds a YouTube video player, which may set its own cookies per YouTube/Google's cookie policy.
We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or third-party tracking pixels. By using the Service you consent to the essential cookies required for authentication.
